Okay, need some advice. I personally lost all my hunting land in Northern New York due to a bad divorce and bankruptcy. My love of turkey hunting has been seriously curved and after taking two jakes in 2012 I have been skunked. Now I have proven that I can call, as they come in but not close enough, and I had a hen walk 100 yards down the hill yesterday to visit with and eat, purr, and cluck at my decoy set up, so not the decoys. Being retired from the Army, I had expected to retire in NY and have the house and land. Since I have come back to Ohio, I have made use of the small camp my brother owns, but I just can't get to where the turkeys want to be. So this brings me to the dilemma as to where I can go or do to meet fellow turkey hunters and/or hunters and find places to go hunting. I have plans for next year to pay for a hunt, but I would like to find some places and camaraderie that I had in NY when I was hunting. Guess I am just asking where I can go or what I need to do to find places to hunt where I can get where the turkeys want to be?
