Sorry for your conditions . Thought we've had it tough ? I'll just keep my yap shut on this evolution. Life has been happening and has kept me away from the farm and leases. Hope to get there this week or weekend again. The woods folk have kept me informed, but not the same, as walking the paths.

George,The corn doesn't appear that bad in growth, but this much water is going to show it's toll soon .. as the soybeans probably allready are!! Finally got a moonsoon .3" last night in a 1/2 hr, which wasnt' bad and is cooler and more comfortable today, till' the sun comes out. Had another .2" last Wed. and havn't mowed lawn in more than 2 weeks, well part of the lawn anyway

Been seeing plenty of that wet stuff here and hat 3 small tornadoes miss our humble abode by about 2.5-3 miles to the south a week or so ago with one of the storms. Our sirens went off, but watched it tracking on radar and determined we waz in the clear, at least from the twisters. Now for the rain, I live on top of a hill and our curbed street looked like a river and the light show was intense. I admit it, I'm not too bright sometimes when it gets to storming out, but I like to see Mother Nature dish out the wild weather so long as I can do so without getting blown away or zapped!

After the storms yesterday & seeing the damage south of me all the way down to KY., I am extremely Thankful that my area didn't have any major damage. Hopefully we're done with the rain at least for several days.

Today marked the end of our longest 'dry spell' since March. We made it a whopping 6 days! We've been doing good to get a day or two here or there. I think the weather pattern is about to change for us finally!! Summer is here now that the kids are about to go to school again..........
