Great to see, and especially that they can fly from harms way!!!!! Havn't seen the bent bearded hen & brood around my cam pics. and hope the neighbor's dogs didn't spook em' to bad. I C my other bearded hen and plain hen, feeding w/o a brood But between storms, we take care of what ails turkey eggs

Good to see those poults. Less than 50% of nests survive to produce poults that live to the following year.

Thanks WC!! This is at a Wildlife Refuge about an hour from the house. We usually see bears there, but didn't see any this trip. Saw 2 coons and quite a few hens then the poults.
